Let's talk license agreements! This half-day workshop will serve as an introduction to license agreements for library e-resources. While there is no substitute for true legal counsel, librarians and library staff should be aware of common terms, language, pitfalls, and resources for negotiating license agreements in order to serve the best interests of the library and institution. Presenter Abbie Brown has managed e-resources and negotiated license agreements for the University of Missouri System Libraries for 10 years. This workshop is intended for those with entry- or intermediate-level experience with licensing library materials.
