It's in the bag: An update after nearly 1 year with STAT Courier.
This session will highlight where we are with STAT Courier. What's working, what changes we've made (and why), and what you can do to help us improve service. We'll also go over Datatrac, the tracking system that STAT uses, so you'll know the latest on being able to keep track of your materials. We'll also cover reports and much more.

Hello from the Other Side: Using LibGuides Analytics to Listen to Your Users
Your patrons may not give you formal feedback about what they need and want from your institution’s LibGuides, but that doesn’t mean they’re not telling you! The in-depth evaluation of LibGuides analytics provides an opportunity to learn about your users’ research needs and information-seeking behaviors. In this session you’ll learn about the various kinds of enhanced analytics that are available in LibGuides v2 (Homepage, Guides, Sessions, Browser/Operating System, Searches, and Assets) and the important insights revealed by each kind of data. You’ll also learn how conclusions derived from LibGuides data suggest new best practices for LibGuides creation, curation, metadata, and ongoing site management.

Now Open 24/7 (Virtually)
Trends suggest that information seekers, including students, are increasingly online, mobile, and engaging with their work beyond 9-5. As a society we are becoming accustomed to chatting or texting with service providers from Amazon to our local repair man. Virtual reference is one way libraries are trying to ensure information seekers find the help they need when and where they need it. However, many libraries do not have the staffing necessary to support virtual reference services, especially outside of normal business hours. Last year a MOBIUS Task Force investigated potential collaborations that might expand opportunities for MOBIUS members to provide high quality virtual reference services. As a result of their work, MOBIUS brokered a contract with LibraryH3lp and ChatStaff, third party virtual reference providers, at a reduced rate for Missouri Libraries. A member of the task force will share information from their process, including their efforts to explore collaborative reference models. Then, two librarians from Northwest Missouri State University who have implemented LibraryH3lp and ChatStaff at their library, will share what they did, what they should have done, and what they have learned so far. Finally, a MOBIUS representative will end with an opportunity to hear more about how libraries interested in learning more about LibraryH3lp and ChatStaff can get information.

Shaking Up the Curriculum: Leadership lessons learned in developing an action plan for information fluency
Rockhurst University is committed to developing information fluency skills in its students. Greenlease Library wanted to develop strategies to help students acquire information fluency by promoting faculty-librarian collaborations. We discovered that the key to getting people to follow you is to know where you are going. Join Tensy Marcos-Bodker, Research, Learning and Assessment Services Librarian, as she describes her experiences, and the lessons learned, from participation in the ACRL 2015 Immersion Program (Program Track) and the CIC Information Fluency in the Disciplines Workshop (2016). She will describe how these programs led to the development of a comprehensive action plan to create an information fluency program in Rockhurst University’s core curriculum.

When They Need It, We Have It! Fulfilling Student Article Needs
In Spring Semester 2016, Maryville University Library began a pilot of an unmediated article-pay-per view service. Join us as we describe how we selected the vendors for the project, why we decided to go unmediated, what our patrons are doing with this service, the ways it has impacted ILL, and whether we still think an unmediated service is a better choice for us than a mediated one. We will also discuss how this service fits into our overall article access strategy. We will take an in-depth look at usage data (such as journals from which articles were downloaded, how many downloaded articles could have been accessed at no-charge through our databases, how many duplicate articles were downloaded, times of day and night when patrons downloaded) We will review our other article access services and discuss the pros and cons of article-pay-per-view in comparison to these services.
